The game in Antibes supposed to be also worth to mention about. 4th placed Chorale de Roanne (14-9) played at the court of sixth ranked Olympique Antibes (14-9). Olympique Antibes smashed Chorale de Roanne 97-51. The game without a history. Olympique Antibes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Chorale de Roanne's 16. Olympique Antibes forced 19 Chorale de Roanne turnovers and outrebounded them 43-30 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Olympique Antibes players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Chorale de Roanne's players. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Willie Solomon (187-78, college: Clemson, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Olympique Antibes players scored in double figures. Guerschon Yabusele (201-95, agency: Comsport) came up with 13 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Raphael Desroses (199-80) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Chorale de Roanne in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympique Antibes moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Roanne. Olympique Antibes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
