The game in Rybnik was also quite interesting. Third ranked Energa Torun (17-5) played at the court of 6th ranked Rybnik (9-13). Energa Torun did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 72-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Energa Torun. Rybnik was better in second period 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Rybnik 42-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. International power forward Malgorzata Misiuk (184-91, agency: Josep and Nicolas) fired 14 points for the winners. The former international Aleksandra Pawlak (189-84, agency: Promotex) chipped in 13 points. Energa Torun's coach Elmedin Omanic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Leah Metcalf (170-83, college: N.Carolina) produced 21 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals and Ukrainian forward Kateryna Rymarenko (187-90) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Energa Torun maintains third position with 17-5 record having five points less than leader Wisla Krakow. Rybnik lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost.
