Regular Season Round 22: Centrum - Tromso 67-80

BLNO top team - Tromso (16-4) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked Centrum (5-14) in Oslo 80-67. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Tromso's pressure prevailed and they won that period 12-17 extending their advantage to 13 points. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import power forward Reggie Fuller (199-86, college: Binghamton) contributed with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Miilah Kombat (198-88, college: N.Idaho JC) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and the former international forward Frank Nyborg (197-83) added 23 points in the effort for Centrum. Centrum's coach Inge Kristiansen rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tromso have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-4 record. Centrum lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 14 games lost. Tromso will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Centrum will play again on the road against the league's leader Tromso (#1) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
