Regular Season Round 22: Rosa Radom - MKS DG 96-78

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Rosa (16-6) won against 12th ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (7-15) in Radom 96-78 on Saturday. Rosa forced 21 MKS Dabrowa Gornicza turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for the former international Lukasz Majewski (199-82) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 4 steals. The former international Robert Witka (205-81) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American Myles McKay (193-86, college: Wisc.-Whitewater) replied with 21 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Ken Brown (180-89, college: Philander Smith, agency: Octagon Europe) added 17 points in the effort for MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rosa have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with AZS Koszalin. Newly promoted MKS Dabrowa Gornicza keeps the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Rosa will face Slask (#5) in Wroclaw in the next round. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play at home against Polpharma (#16) and hope to win that game.
