The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Civitanova (4-1) in Civitanova Marche on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Roma SRB (5-0) 65-60. It was a key game for the top position in A2. Civitanova was trailing by 11 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 13-5 charge of Roma SRB, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Civitanova to just 5 points in fourth quarter. It was a good game for forward Marta Masoni (183-93, college: CS Northridge) who led her team to a victory with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Center Giuliana Di Stazio (189-86) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Linda Manzini (176-90) replied with 15 points and guard Federica Iannucci (172-93) added 20 points in the effort for Civitanova. Roma SRB keeps a position of A2 leader.
