Important game to mention about took place in Vigarano. Twelfth ranked Orvieto (6-15) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 10th ranked Vigarano (8-13) 72-70 on Sunday evening. Vigarano was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. American guard Kirby Burkholder (183, college: JMU, agency: LBM Management) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Valentina Baldelli (170-89, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 10 points during the contest. Four Vigarano players scored in double figures. Orvieto moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Lavezzini PR. Vigarano lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Orvieto will play against league's second-placed Familia Schio at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
