The game between Top Four teams took place in Tel-Aviv. First ranked host Maccabi T-A (20-2) smashed 3rd ranked Maccabi Rishon (12-10) 113-93. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Maccabi Rishon. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi T-A. Maccabi Rishon was better in fourth quarter 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi T-A shot 61.2 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Maccabi T-A especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Maccabi Rishon was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga) notched 25 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and Greek center Sofoklis Schortsanitis (206-85) supported him with 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Even 17 points and 8 rebounds by international swingman Shawn Dawson (196-93) did not help to save the game for Maccabi Rishon. American point guard Isaiah Swann (188-85, college: Florida St.) added 15 points and 9 assists for lost side. Five Maccabi T-A and four Maccabi Rishon players scored in double figures. Maccabi Rishon's coach Sharon Drucker rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Maccabi T-A have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-2 record. Maccabi Rishon at the other side dropped to the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Hapoel T-A.
