Second Stage Round 6: Albino - Muggia 68-55

Bottom-ranked Muggia is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked Albino (3-2) 68-55. The game was mostly controlled by Albino. Muggia was better in second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Muggia to just 6 points in first quarter. Albino forced 20 Muggia turnovers and outrebounded them 40-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Czech forward Tereza Vorlova (186-86) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Laura Fumagalli (178-85) chipped in 9 points and 5 rebounds. Albino's coach Nazareno Lombardi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian forward Mia Masic (180-93) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Elena Capolicchio (169-92) added 12 points respectively. Albino moved-up to fourth place in A2. Muggia at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Albino's next round opponent will be San Salvatore (#5) on the road. Muggia will play against Biassono and hopes to get finally their first victory.
