No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Sint Kateline Waver (16-5) beat on the road 9th ranked Houthalen (6-15) 68-55. The game was mostly controlled by Sint Kateline Waver. Houthalen was better in third quarter 24-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Sint Kateline Waver won last quarter 21-10. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Houthalen to just 7 points in second quarter. Sint Kateline Waver forced 21 Houthalen turnovers. The former international swingman Sara Leemans (178-88) scored 28 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Aline Verelst (172-96) chipped in 15 points during the contest.
