Very important is a road loss of Champville (7-9) against Hoops Club (3-13) on Monday night. Visiting Champville was defeated by Hoops Club in Beirut 70-60. Hoops Club dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Champville's 30. American swingman Charron Fisher (193-85, college: Niagara) notched 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Ali Mezher (182-94) supported him with 19 points and 6 assists. Even 22 points and 9 rebounds by Georgian power forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili (212-83, agency: Regeneracom Sports) did not help to save the game for Champville. The former international forward Bassel Bawji (203-89, college: Tulsa) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Champville's coach Ghassan Sarkis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hoops Club will meet Tadamon in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Champville will play against Sagesse in Beirut and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
