Date: March 9, 2015
Bottom-ranked Gaiteros (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 87-85 loss to ninth ranked Toros (2-7) in Maracay on Monday evening. Toros' coach Gustavo Garcia used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Nigerian-American power forward Reggie Okosa (208-80, college: La Salle) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Ghanian guard Kojo Mensah (193-85, college: Buffalo St., agency: Interperformances) scored 22 points and 9 rebounds.
