The game in Hasharon was also quite interesting. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (9-13) played at the court of Ramat Hasharon (10-12). Ramat Hasharon managed to secure a 6-point victory 97-91 on Monday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 32-24 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Ramat Hasharon made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Ramat Hasharon especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Anne Marie Armstrong (191-91, college: Georgia, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Point guard A'Dia Mathies (175-91, college: Kentucky) accounted for 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Five Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. Guard Alexis Hornbuckle (180-85, college: Tennessee) came up with 25 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and guard Chelsea Gray (180-92, college: Duke) added 26 points and 4 assists respectively for Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion in the defeat. Ramat Hasharon will meet Maccabi Ramat Hen (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion will play against Maccabi Ashdod and hope to secure a win.
