Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Hasharon and 9th ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba had identical 8-12 record. But Hapoel Kfar Saba was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Hod Hasharon 81-62. The game without a history. Hasharon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Hapoel Kfar Saba's 24. Hasharon forced 19 Hapoel Kfar Saba turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Jeremy Allen (193-88, college: FIU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) nailed 27 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and forward Rhamel Brown (201-92, college: Manhattan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) accounted for 12 points, 18 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. Allen is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Hasharon players scored in double figures. Center DeAngelo Riley (206-88, college: Azusa Pacific) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 7 blocks and point guard Darrin Dorsey (188, college: Dakota Wesleyan) added 13 points respectively for Hapoel Kfar Saba in the defeat. Hasharon (9-12) moved-up to ninth place. Hapoel Kfar Saba at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost. Hasharon's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hapoel Afula (#4) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel Kfar Saba will play against Ironi Ramat Gan (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
