Quarter-Finals Round 1: Lemvig - Aabyhoj 80-73

Date: March 11, 2015
Lemvig fired past Aabyhoj to gain the opening victory in the playoffs. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Aabyhoj won third quarter 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Aabyhoj 46-34 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-90, college: Portland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. American guard Joanna Miller (173-91, college: Grambling St.) contributed with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures. American point guard Nicole Ballestero (173-92, college: Vanguard) answered with 37 points (!!!) and guard Sofie Preetzmann (180-95) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Aabyhoj. Aabyhoj's coach Thomas Johansen rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
