American forward Jeremy Atkinson (193-90, college: NC-Asheville) notched a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international point guard Justin Shouse (181-81, college: Mercyhurst) supported him with 17 points and 5 assists. Four Stjarnan players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds by American-Jamaican forward Trey Hampton (203-87, college: Georgia St.) did not help to save the game for IR. American-French guard Hamid Dicko (-84, college: Hillsdale) added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
