It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lleida Basquet. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-73. Lleida Basquet was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lleida Basquet's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Melilla Baloncesto maintains ninth place with 12-12 record. Loser Lleida Basquet dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Melilla Baloncesto will face higher ranked Blancos de Rueda (#4) in Valladolid in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lleida Basquet will play at home against Palencia Baloncesto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
