4th ranked BC Rakvere (16-11) fell to seventh ranked TTU (8-18) in overtime by two points 91-93 on Friday night. The game took place in Rakvere. But the guests from Tallinn were better at the end. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Rakvere. BC Rakvere was trailing by 9 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 22-20 charge of TTU, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 15-13. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BC Rakvere to just 7 points in first quarter. TTU looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international forward Toomas Raadik (201-90, agency: Promotex) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds. Kiur Akenparg (190-88) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. TTU's coach Heino Lill used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals and the former international power forward Reinar Hallik (207-84) added 23 points and 4 assists in the effort for BC Rakvere. Four TTU and five BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. TTU maintains seventh position with 8-18 record. BC Rakvere at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. TTU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn TLU/Kalev.
