Thirteenth-ranked Cocinas.com (7-17) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Blancos de Rueda (15-8) in Logrono. The visitors from Valladolid managed to secure only two-point victory 89-87. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-20. But Cocinas.com won second period 27-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Blancos de Rueda won last quarter 23-22. Worth to mention a great performance of center Sergio De La Fuente (198-89) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Sergi Pino (197-87) contributed with 14 points for the winners. American-Nigerian forward Zimmy Nwogbo (201-91, college: Cedarville, agency: Duran International) answered with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Czech point guard Jakub Kudlacek (193-90) added 15 points in the effort for Cocinas.com. Five Cocinas.com players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Blancos de Rueda maintains fourth place with 15-8 record.
