The game in Wroclaw was also quite interesting. 4th placed Rosa (16-7) played at the court of fifth ranked Slask (15-8). Slask defeated Rosa 81-70 on Friday. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Rosa. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 23-8 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Slask forced 22 Rosa turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international Lukasz Wisniewski (186-84, college: Barton Co. CC, agency: Promotex) who scored 22 points. Slask will meet bottom-ranked Polpharma (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Rosa will play against AZS Koszalin (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
