Regular Season Round 20: Pays d'Aix - CFBB 63-52

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Pays d'Aix (12-8) beat bottom-ranked CFBB (2-18) in Les Milles 63-52. The game was mostly controlled by Pays d'Aix. CFBB was better in third quarter 15-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Emilie Silbande (178-81) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Shante Evans (184-91, college: Hofstra) who added 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Pays d'Aix's coach Virgile Abel allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Alexia Chartereau (189-98) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Alix Duchet (165-97) scored 13 points. Pays d'Aix have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Charnay. CFBB at the other side stay dead last with 18 lost games. Pays d'Aix will play against league's leader Nice on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. CFBB will play against Dunkerque (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
