Very expected game when 12th ranked 08 Stockholm (2-20) was smashed at home by third ranked Sallen (17-5) 90-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sallen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding 08 Stockholm to just 6 points in third quarter. Sallen dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to 08 Stockholm's 40 and had 19 for 27 from the free-throw line, while 08 Stockholm only scored two points from the stripe. They outrebounded 08 Stockholm 42-21 including a 34-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sallen looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by 08 Stockholm's players. Quite impressive performance for Serbian Dajana Butulija (176-86, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Serbian point guard Jovana Vidakovic (172-94) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Sallen players scored in double figures. Swingman Karolina Mindell Kidanu (178-88) replied with 10 points and Erica Iderstal (172-94) added 8 points in the effort for 08 Stockholm. 08 Stockholm's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Sallen have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 17-5 record having four points less than leader Umea. 08 Stockholm lost twentieth consecutive game.
