Damligan top team - Umea (21-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Visby Ladies (9-13) 105-58. The game without a history. Umea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Visby Ladies' 40. Umea forced 25 Visby Ladies turnovers and outrebounded them 33-21 including 20 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Visby Ladies' players. Lithuanian forward Lina Pikciute (192-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) notched 29 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American-Italian swingman Pamela Rosanio (178-86, college: Massachusetts) supported her with 25 points and 4 assists. Four Umea players scored in double figures. Umea's coach Mikael Blomqvist felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 13 points by Elin Sjoberg (175-97) did not help to save the game for Visby Ladies. Croatian guard Tea Buzov (176-90) added 8 points for lost side. Umea have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-1 record. Visby Ladies at the other side keep the eighth place with 13 games lost.
