Very expected game in Tokyo where 9th ranked Niigata R. (5-24) was crushed by fifth ranked Chanson V-M (18-11) 71-47 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Chanson V-M. Niigata R. managed to win third quarter 18-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Niigata R. to just 6 points in second quarter. Chanson V-M dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Niigata R.'s 24. International forward Sanae Motokawa (175-92) fired 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Minaho Miyoshi (167-93) chipped in 14 points.
