Very expected game when 6th ranked Hokkaido L. (14-27) lost to second ranked Mitsubishi Dolphins (24-14) in Saporro 67-75 on Sunday. Hokkaido L. was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 24-12 charge of Mitsubishi Dolphins, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Senegalese-French forward Amath M'Baye (206-89, college: Oklahoma) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. The former international power forward Shunsuke Ito (204-79) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: KMG Sports Management) answered with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Fumihiko Aono (210-78) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Hokkaido L.Hokkaido L.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mitsubishi Dolphins maintains second place with 24-14 record having ten points less than leader Hitachi SR. Loser Hokkaido L. keeps the sixth position with 27 games lost.
