There was no surprise when 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (11-31) was defeated on the road by second ranked Okinawa GK (35-7) 67-55 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was guard Ryuichi Kishimoto (176-90) who scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American swingman Justin Watts (196-90, college: N.Carolina) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Okinawa GK used an opportunity after Kyoto Hannar. lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Takamatsu FA lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 31 games lost. Okinawa GK will face Oita Heat Devils (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Takamatsu FA will play against Bambitious Nara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
