Regular Season Round 23: Tromso - Centrum 87-63

BLNO top team - Tromso (17-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Centrum (5-16) 87-63. The game without a history. Tromso led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Centrum's 38. They outrebounded Centrum 43-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. American guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import power forward Reggie Fuller (199-86, college: Binghamton) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Ahmed Haddad (189-93) answered with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Frank Nyborg (197-83) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Centrum. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tromso have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 17-4 record. Centrum lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 16 games lost.
