Top ranked Kyoto Hannar. (35-7) recorded its seventh loss at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Shiga L-Stars (25-15) 76-62. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Kyoto Hannar.. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-62. The best player for the winners was Yu Okada (184-83) who scored 26 points and 4 steals. American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia, agency: Haylett Sports) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Ryan Forehan-Kelly (196-80, college: California) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Shiga L-Stars maintains fourth position with 25-15 record. Kyoto Hannar. at the other side still keeps top place with seven games lost. They share the position with Okinawa GK. Shiga L-Stars are looking forward to face Fukuoka Rizing (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
