Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Gunma (15-25) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Sendai 89ers (28-14) 87-72 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 49-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Sendai 89ers made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game.
