There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Hasharon (10-13) lost to ninth ranked Ironi Ashkelon (9-14) in Hod Hasharon 78-91. The game was mostly controlled by Ironi Ashkelon. Hasharon was better in fourth quarter 25-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Hasharon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Marcus Moore (198-80, college: Washington St., agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) fired 22 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Center Adar Ben Aliza (206-94, agency: Gross Zeev ISA) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American forward Rhamel Brown (201-92, college: Manhattan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Jeremy Allen (193-88, college: FIU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 17 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Ironi Ashkelon went down to tenth position due to points difference. Hasharon at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. Ironi Ashkelon will have a break next round.
