1Liga top team - Krosno (19-5) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked AZS PP (4-20) in Poznan 110-58. The game without a history. Krosno led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Krosno outrebounded AZS PP 47-28 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of power forward Marcin Salamonik (202-83) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Damian Pieloch (195-89) who added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Krosno players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Szymon Budnikowski (200-84) with 15 points and 9 rebounds and Michal Szydlowski (197-87) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Krosno have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-5 record. AZS PP lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Krosno are looking forward to face Stal Ostrow (#3) in Ostrow Wlkp. in the next round, which may be the game of the day. AZS PP will play on the road against Znicz Basket (#5) in Pruszkow and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
