Second Stage Round 11: Solna Branten - Orongo 86-75

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Orongo Dragons (7-8) were defeated on the road by first ranked Solna Branten (14-3) 86-75 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Solna Branten. Orongo Dragons was better in fourth quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was swingman Patrik Horman (186-94) who scored 14 points. Guard Michael Andraos (186-94) chipped in 14 points. Solna Branten's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard David Niklasson (192-95) produced 19 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Solna Branten. They maintain first place in BEHS forts with 14-3 record. Orongo Dragons lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with eight games lost. Solna Branten will face BG Lulea (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Orongo Dragons will play against Taby Basket and hope to win that game.
