There was no surprise in Nagoya where 6th ranked Mitsubishi K. (17-13) was defeated by third ranked Fujitsu RW (24-6) 59-53 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-11. But Mitsubishi K. won second period 17-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Fujitsu RW won last quarter 19-14. The best player for the winners was international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Ai Mitani (182-78) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. International center Chao Asako (189-87) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and power forward Yuka Kosuge (180-91) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Fujitsu RW moved-up to second place, which they share with Denso Iris. Mitsubishi K. lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 13 games lost.
