Second Stage Round 5: WKK Wroclaw - Suchy Las 45-64

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked WKK Wroclaw (5-8) was crushed at home by ninth ranked Suchy Las (5-8) 64-45. The game without a history. Suchy Las led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding WKK Wroclaw to just 7 points in second quarter. Suchy Las forced 24 WKK Wroclaw turnovers. Center Michal Marek (208-96) orchestrated the victory by scoring 10 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Tomasz Smorawinski (196-87) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Pawel Bochenkiewicz (199-89) answered with 7 points and 15 rebounds and center Marcin Kolowca (209-87) added 10 points in the effort for WKK Wroclaw. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Suchy Las moved-up to seventh place in Group F, which they share with WKK Wroclaw and Nowa Sol. WKK Wroclaw lost fifth consecutive game. Suchy Las' next round opponent will be Alba Chorzow (#10) on the road.
