Fortuna defeated Kibirkstis-VICI on the road to complete the sweep of the LMKL quarterfinal series. The guests were already 14 points ahead at halftime and as many as 21 after three quarters before a 23-11 last quarter charge of Kibirkstis-VICI cut the lead to 82-73 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Kibirkstis-VICI 42-28 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fortuna shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. International swingman Marina Solopova (180-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. International Monika Grigalauskyte (190-92) contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Fortuna's coach Ramune Kumpiene allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Ny Hammonds (165-92, college: Charlotte, agency: Two Points) replied with 22 points and 5 steals (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and Laura Juskaite (186-97) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Kibirkstis-VICI.
