Regular Season Round 23: Campus Promete - Cadi La Seu 66-77

No shocking result in a game in Logrono where fourth ranked Cadi La Seu (16-7) won against bottom-ranked Campus Promete (5-18) 77-66 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Cadi La Seu. Campus Promete was better in third quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cadi La Seu forced 23 Campus Promete turnovers. It was a great evening for Belgian point guard Hind Ben Abdelkader (172-95, college: California, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who led her team to a victory scoring 13 points. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Cadi La Seu will face league's second-placed Argon Uni Girona at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Campus Promete will play against Al-Qazeres (#13) in Caceres and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
