The game in Split supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Ragusa (15-3) played at the court of 7th ranked ZKK Split (6-11). Ragusa smashed ZKK Split 87-57. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ZKK Split. The game was mostly controlled by Ragusa. ZKK Split was better in second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ragusa had a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Serbian guard Jovana Vukoje (174-86) fired 30 points for the winners. The former international forward Kristina Benic (186-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Maja Puljic (176-93) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and center Josipa Pavic (187-99) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ragusa maintains third place with 15-3 record having just -1 point less than leader Medvescak. ZKK Split at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Ragusa's next round opponent will be Croatia 2006 (#8) in Zagreb which should be theoretically another easy game. ZKK Split will play on the road against Gospic and hope to win that game.
