Lemvig edged Aabyhoj in the decisive third game of the quarterfinal series and paved their way into the semis. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Aabyhoj won fourth quarter 25-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-90, college: Portland) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Joanna Miller (173-91, college: Grambling St.) contributed with 23 points and 5 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Guard Sofie Preetzmann (180-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and forward Kia Fisker (185-95) added 19 points and 13 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Aabyhoj.
