Regular Season Round 28: Mogi das Cruzes - Paulistano 88-77
Date: March 19, 2015
Rather predictable result when third ranked Mogi (19-7) won against 6th ranked Paulistano (15-13) in Mogi das Cruzes 88-77 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Mogi. Paulistano was better in second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mogi looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Quite impressive performance for naturalized American Shamell Stallworth (195-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 4 assists. The former international center Paulo Prestes (211-88) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Nigerian-American power forward Jefferson Agba (208-80, college: Embry Riddle) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Kenny Dawkins (175-87, college: Lamar) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Paulistano.
