Even 19 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) by forward Fernando Alvim (201-80) did not help to save the game for Macae. Eddy Carvalho (196-87) added 18 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Brasilia moved-up to ninth place. Loser Macae keeps the twelfth position with 17 games lost. Brasilia will meet at home higher ranked Flamengo (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Macae will play against Mogi (#3) and hope to secure a win.
