Regular Season Round 25: Antibes - Orchy 93-55
Date: March 20, 2015
Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Olympique Antibes (16-9) rolled over at home 6th ranked Orchesien BC (14-11) 93-55 on Friday. The game without a history. Olympique Antibes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-18 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Olympique Antibes outrebounded Orchesien BC 38-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Orchesien BC's players. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for point guard Willie Solomon (187-78, college: Clemson, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Olympique Antibes players scored in double figures. Chris Daniels (200-82, college: Georgia) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and guard Roburt Sallie (196-86, college: Memphis, agency: Blacktop Management) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Orchesien BC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympique Antibes have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 16-9 record. Orchesien BC at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. Olympique Antibes will face bottom-ranked Angers BC (#18) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Orchesien BC will play against Boulazac Basket (#3) and hope to win that game.
