The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: TTU (#7) and TLU/Kalev (#8). TTU (9-18) crushed visiting TLU/Kalev (6-22) by 28 points 78-50. The game without a history. TTU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TTU had a 38-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Kiur Akenparg (190-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points. American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark St.) helped adding 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four TTU players scored in double figures. TTU's coach Heino Lill felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Tom Droney (198-91, college: Davidson) with 11 points and Nigerian forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-91) scored 5 points and 9 rebounds. TTU maintains seventh place with 9-18 record. TLU/Kalev lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 22 games lost. TTU are looking forward to face higher ranked KK Parnu (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TLU/Kalev will play against Valga Kalev and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
