Regular Season Round 27: Vichy - La Rochelle 85-65

Rather expected game when 10th ranked La Rochelle (14-12) was rolled over on the road by seventh ranked JA Vichy (16-11) 85-65. La Rochelle was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 47-25 second half run of JA Vichy. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American-Italian swingman Ryan Zamroz (192-87, college: Master's, agency: Players Group) who led the winners and scored 22 points. Octavio Da Silveira (204-89) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. Four JA Vichy players scored in double figures. JA Vichy's coach Fabien Romeyer allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Jarryd Cole (205-88, college: Iowa) came up with 24 points and power forward Aziz Dia (202-90) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for La Rochelle in the defeat. JA Vichy moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Challans. La Rochelle at the other side keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. JA Vichy's next round opponent will be Rueil (#9) on the road. La Rochelle will play against UB Chartres and hope to win that game.
