Important game to mention about took place in Tbilisi. Sixth ranked Olimpi (5-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd ranked MIA (8-4) 69-66 on Saturday evening. MIA was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 19-10 charge of Olimpi, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 MIA turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian swingman Denis Noskov (202-90) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 4 assists and guard Koka Tomaradze (197-90) who added 14 points during the contest. Olimpi's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was international point guard Giorgi Tsintsadze (192-86) with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and international Nika Metreveli (211-91, agency: Interperformances) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four MIA players scored in double figures. Olimpi moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Batumi. MIA at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Olimpi will play against higher ranked Energy Invest (#4) in Rustavi in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. MIA's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Dinamo Tbilisi.
