Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Sanda Basket (3-13) lost to second ranked Talje Knights (13-3) in Huskvarna 64-69 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sanda Basket won third quarter 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Talje Knights forced 21 Sanda Basket turnovers. It was a good game for Adam Ramstedt (206-95) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Henrik Sjolin (178-97) contributed with 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Talje Knights players scored in double figures. Guard Albin Eriksson (189-96) replied with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Edin Hanusa added 12 points in the effort for Sanda Basket. Sanda Basket's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Talje Knights have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in BEHS forts with 13-3 record behind leader Helsingborg. Sanda Basket lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. Talje Knights will face Huddinge (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sanda Basket will play against Haga Haninge and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
