Lemvig surprised Horsholm on the road to take the lead in the semifinal series. Horsholm was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 27-20 charge of Lemvig, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. American guard Joanna Miller (173-91, college: Grambling St.) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-90, college: Portland) chipped in 24 points and 14 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws). At the losing side American center Joy Burke (196-90, college: Arizona St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Amalie Bonde (167-89) scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
