Regular Season Round 22: Nantes - Lattes Montp. 49-72

Date: March 21, 2015
The game in Nantes supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Lattes Montpellier (19-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Nantes Reze (10-12). Lattes Montpellier smashed Nantes Reze 72-49 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Nantes Reze. The game was mostly controlled by Lattes Montpellier. Nantes Reze managed to win fourth quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. International point guard Ingrid Tanqueray (166-88) notched 16 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international center Elodie Godin (191-85, agency: Comsport) supported her with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Even 9 points and 13 rebounds by the former international power forward Aurelie Bonnan (187-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) did not help to save the game for Nantes Reze. The former international Sarah Michel (180-89, agency: Comsport) added 11 points for lost side. Lattes Montpellier have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 19-3 record having just two points less than leader Bourges. Nantes Reze at the other side keeps the eighth place with 12 games lost. Lattes Montpellier will meet at home bottom-ranked Union Hainaut (#14) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Nantes Reze will play against Angers (#5) and hope to secure a win.
