BJ League round 46 caused change at the leadership position. Tenth defeat of league's leader Akita Happinets (34-10) against third ranked Toyama Grouses (31-13) 94-82 was the most important game of the last round. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 54-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Toyama Grouses made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Sam Willard (205-88, college: Pacific) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Akita Happinets will play next round against Shinshu BW trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
