The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked TTU's (9-19) road loss to sixth ranked KK Parnu (12-16) 64-73 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 25-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian guard Sandis Silavs (195-88) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 assists and naturalized American forward Renato Lindmets (200-84, college: Westfield St.) who added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. KK Parnu's coach Mait Kabin used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side swingman Jaan Puidet (191-92) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Kiur Akenparg (190-88) scored 14 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KK Parnu maintains sixth position with 12-16 record. Loser TTU keeps the seventh place with 19 games lost. KK Parnu will meet higher ranked Valga Kalev (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. TTU will play against TYCO Rapla and hope to secure a win.
