An interesting game for Taiyuan Textile (6-6) which played against one of their biggest challengers Chunghwa Telecom (5-7). Second ranked Taiyuan Textile had an easy win 71-51. The game was mostly controlled by Taiyuan Textile. Chunghwa Telecom managed to win third quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Taiyuan Textile forced 19 Chunghwa Telecom turnovers. It was a good game for the former international center Pei-Chen Tsai (186-84) who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 9 rebounds. International forward Ying-Chieh Wu (179-92) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Forward Jia-Wei Liu (175-88) replied with 11 points and 5 assists and center Pei-Jun Xie (181-91) added 15 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Chunghwa Telecom. Taiyuan Textile have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-6 record having five points less than leader Cathay Life. Chunghwa Telecom at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. Taiyuan Textile are again looking forward to face Chunghwa Telecom (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Chunghwa Telecom will have a break next round.
