Galati was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Quite impressive performance for Serbian power forward Jefimija Karakasevic (191-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. Serbian Biljana Pesovic (180-83) contributed with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American center Chelsey Lee (193-89, college: Rutgers) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import guard Amber Jones (170-91, college: UAB) added 11 points and 6 assists in the effort for Galati. Galati's coach Theodosios Paralikas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
